Gardens abound. Minton, Bournemouth’s internationally renowned parks, The Nothe at Weymouth, has outstanding views of the Jurassic Coast. Exbury is a must, they have an exceptional collection of Rhododendrons; these are all within easy reach. Further afield, how about Dartmoor, Stonehenge, Perhaps Bath, Salisbury or London. They can all be reached by car or public transport, making them a great day out.
The piece de resistance the “Jurassic Bus” For a nominal fee, travel the full length of the Jurassic Coast on a Double Decker. The views are spectacular, a day to remember.
